He married Kate Unknown Franklin Parish La, 1898. (Kate Unknown is #107.) Kate became the mother of Alvarinea Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1899. Kate became the mother of Tolliver Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1901. Kate became the mother of Benny Tarver Franklin Parish La, January 01, 1903. Kate became the mother of Viola Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1905. Kate became the mother of Maybell Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1910.

At 21 years of age Guice became the father of Alvarinea Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1899. At 23 years of age Guice became the father of Tolliver Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1901. At 24 years of age Guice became the father of Benny Tarver Franklin Parish La, January 01, 1903. At 27 years of age Guice became the father of Viola Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1905. At 32 years of age Guice became the father of Maybell Tarver Franklin Parish La, 1910.

Guice Tarver and Kate Unknown had the following children:

41 i. Alvarinea⁴ Tarver (#108) was born Franklin Parish La 1899.

42 ii. Tolliver Tarver (#109) was born Franklin Parish La 1901.

43 iii. Benny Tarver (#110) was born Franklin Parish La January 01, 1903. Benny died March 05, 1927 Baskin La, at 24 years of age. Benny was killed by a man named Huff. He had been to a dance and danced with Huff's former girlfriend. They had words and when Benny left, Huff followed him and attacked him with a knife. His body was interred March 1927 Baskin La, Lone Cedar Cemetary.

44 iv. Viola Tarver (#111) was born Franklin Parish La 1905.

45 v. Maybell Tarver (#112) was born Franklin Parish La 1910.
