He married Caroline P. Trower Claiborne County Ms, April 05, 1834. (Caroline P. Trower is #2.) Caroline was born Tenneesee 1815. Caroline became the mother of Elizabeth Tarver in Mississippi. At 21 years of age Caroline became the mother of Amelia Tarver in Mississippi, 1836. At 22 years of age Caroline became the mother of Martha J. Tarver in Mississippi, 1837. At 32 years of age Caroline became the mother of Minerva M. Tarver in Mississippi, 1847. At 34 years of age Caroline became the mother of Francis L. Tarver in Mississippi, 1849. At 36 years of age Caroline became the mother of Caleb Allen Tarver Franklin Parish La, July 1851. At 39 years of age Caroline became the mother of William Tarver Franklin Parish La, January 10, 1855.

John became the father of Elizabeth Tarver in Mississippi. At 28 years of age John became the father of Amelia Tarver in Mississippi, 1836. At 29 years of age John became the father of Martha J. Tarver in Mississippi, 1837. At 39 years of age John became the father of Minerva M. Tarver in Mississippi, 1847. At 41 years of age John became the father of Francis L. Tarver in Mississippi, 1849. At 43 years of age John became the father of Caleb Allen Tarver Franklin Parish La, July 1851. At 46 years of age John became the father of William Tarver Franklin Parish La, January 10, 1855.

John Tarver and Caroline P. Trower had the following children:

+ 8 vii. William Tarver was born January 10, 1855.
